vwl's Nothing Gold. It's one of my favourite fics of all time: a long story with a long reach about Ling and Ed and their lives together. I totally encourage you to check out the summary and, if you're so inclined, the fic itself, at the above link. I'm happy I got to illustrate it, and I hope I did good by it.
( The cliffs overlooking the eastern sea, barely a day's drive outside of the capital city, were tall and furious, beaten down by wave after wave of water slamming into their sides. )
